Karachi, January 14, 2026 – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially put the Multan Sultans franchise up for sale. The notice invites interested parties to submit bids for the rights to own the team.
The board has opened the process for potential bidders. Parties that want the franchise rights can now prepare and submit their proposals. The PCB set January 30 as the final date for technical documentation. Qualified bidders will move to the next stage after document evaluation.
Earlier, the PCB had been managing the Multan Sultans team independently in the upcoming PSL 11 season. Now, the board has decided to sell the franchise like the other teams in the league.
Sources say the successful auctions of two new PSL teams encouraged the board to list Multan Sultans for sale. The positive outcomes of those sales raised expectations for strong bidding in the Multan auction.
This move marks a key step in expanding franchise ownership within Pakistan’s premier T20 league.
